Power and AV in the floor, out of the way

The FS26 is a recessed floor socket for hard flooring: offices, meeting rooms, hotel lobbies, showrooms and residential living areas. When it is closed, only a stainless steel plate sits level with the floor. Slide the cover and two US outlets, an HDMI port and a VGA port are available where the furniture actually needs them, without a wall outlet in the middle of the room.

Because the connections are flush with the floor rather than raised on a box, chairs and trolleys pass over the plate when the unit is closed, and the room can be cleaned without moving furniture away from a wall.

Two outlets plus multimedia in one plate

Combining power and AV on one plate is the point of the FS26: a meeting table used to need a floor box for power and a separate plate for the projector feed. One recessed unit removes one cut-out, one cable run and one visible plate from the floor plan.

Built for floors that get walked on

The plate is stainless steel, not painted plastic, so it holds its finish where shoes and cleaning equipment cross it. The cover slides within the plate instead of hinging upward, which means nothing projects into the walkway when the socket is open and nothing can be snapped off by a foot.

Installation suits new floors and retrofits. The socket is set into the screed or the raised floor and wired from below, so the finished floor shows a rectangle of brushed steel and nothing else.

Can the cover be left open?

Yes. The cover slides back into the plate and stays open while devices are connected, and it does not rise above floor level.

Yes. The outlets are US configuration with standard grounding, rated 16A at 110~220V.

Is it suitable for a raised access floor?

Yes, provided the void below is deep enough for the housing and the cable entry. Send us the floor build-up and we will confirm the depth requirement.
