A conference table that powers the meeting

The BNT motorized pop-up tabletop socket keeps a tabletop clear until power is needed, then rises out of the surface at a touch. In the raised position it presents four AC outlets, a pair of USB-A ports, a pair of USB-C ports and a wireless charging function, which is enough to seat a laptop, a phone and a tablet per person without a single cable crossing the table.

It is specified for rooms where the furniture is visible all day and the cabling is not: boardrooms, training rooms, hotel meeting floors, co-working desks and home offices that double as dining tables.

Four AC outlets, two charging languages

The column is built as a two-tone unit. One face carries two AC outlets with a pair of USB-A ports above them; the opposite face carries two more AC outlets with a pair of USB-C ports. That split is deliberate: the USB-A face serves legacy accessories and hotel loan devices, the USB-C face serves current laptops and phones, and neither face has to be turned to reach the other.

US plug compatibility

The AC outlets take a standard US plug: two flat blades and a round grounding pin, seated flat against the panel. Plugs do not stand proud of the column, so the socket stays stable when a heavy adapter is hanging from it, and adjacent outlets remain usable when one is occupied.

Flush when the meeting ends

Retracted, the lid sits level with the tabletop and the column is completely hidden. The surface can be wiped, written on and used as a normal table, which is the point of a pop-up socket: the power is there when the room is in use and invisible when it is not. The thin metal rim protects the edge of the cut-out from chipping, which is the usual failure point on a veneered or laminated top.

Build and finish

The column and flange are metal, and the lid carries a brushed finish that resists fingerprints in a room where hands are on the table all day. The mounting flange spreads the load across the tabletop instead of concentrating it at the cut edge, which matters on thin MDF and honeycomb cores. Wiring is brought up through the housing from below, so nothing is visible on the surface.

What happens if something is left on the lid?

The lift is motorized and touch triggered. Keep the lid clear before opening, and confirm the wiring and control arrangement with our team when you specify the unit for a public room.

Can it be retrofitted into an existing table?

Yes, if the top has enough clear area for the flange and enough depth below for the column. Retrofits are common in meeting rooms where power was originally run to a floor box.

Does it take US plugs?

Yes. The outlets are US configuration with flat blades and a grounding pin, as shown in the images above.

How many devices can be connected at once?

Four AC devices plus four USB devices, plus a phone on the wireless charger. In practice a meeting uses the AC outlets for laptops and the USB ports for phones.

What is the minimum order?
